This year candidate filing will occur on Monday, May 15th through Friday, May 19th.

There are 72 positions open for filing. In addition to the open, non-partisan positions, the new Superior Court Judge is open for a one-year unexpired term. Districts with open positions include the City of Shelton, Cemetery Districts, Fire Districts, Hospital Districts, Port Districts, School Districts, Water Districts.

Filing can be done:

Online is easy, it opens at 9:00 am on Monday, May 15th and is open 24 hours a day until it closes promptly at 4:00 pm on Friday, May 19th.

File in person in our office, during business hours, starting 9:00 am Monday, May 15th through 4:00 pm Friday, May 19th.

By mail, must be received no later than 4:00 pm on Friday May 19th; the postmarks does not validate when it’s received.
