North Mason Chamber of Commerce :: Sign Up for "Shop Local" Business Cards

Dear Business Owner,
The North Mason Chamber of Commerce "Shop Local" program has proven to be a highly successful way for you to market your business. Shop Local cards are widely distributed and recognized in our North Mason community. Designed as a "Rewards" program, the goal is to help draw new customers into our local businesses.

You can participate whether or not you are a Chamber member.

Here's how it works:

Your business name and phone number will be added to the Shop Local cards. (Great advertising! Shoppers are telling us they like this handy reference...)
Stamp or sign customers' Shop Local cards each time they visit - no purchase required. (We will give you a supply of new cards, so if customers don't have one, you can provide it and be the first signer.)
Five visits to any mix of participating businesses and the customer becomes eligible to enter a monthly drawing for a $100 gift certificate. This encourages people to shop local repeatedly.
A drawing is held every month at the Chamber luncheon, and one local shopper each month will win a $100 gift certificate redeemable at any participating business. (Note: Business owners may request reimbursement from the Chamber if the gift certificate is redeemed at their business, so there is NO COST to you. In fact, if the customer redeems the gift certificate at your business, you have just made a $100 sale.)
You can choose (or not) to run additional in-store discount/promotions in association with Shop Local (i.e. discounts, frequent shopper cards, etc. - whatever works for you).

The program is free to local shoppers, and it costs just $50 a year for a business to participate. This small fee gets your name and phone number on the Shop Local cards, where customers will see it regularly. Other business benefits include Shop Local coverage in our neighborhood papers (North Mason Life, Belfair Herald and North Bay Review) as well as business listings on the Chamber website NorthMasonChamber.com and on the member networking site MyNorthMasonChamber.com.
