How Businesses Can Participate

Business owners,

If you'd like to participate in the Shop Local campaign, please call Frank Kenny at the North Mason Chamber office at 275-4267 or email at frank@northmasonchamber.com.

Frank will be happy to sign you up! All North Mason businesses are invited and encouraged to participate in the Shop Local program.

  1. The Shop North Mason card is a Rewards card.
  2. Rewards cards are produced in quantity and distributed widely.
  3. Customers are required to get 5 "proof of visiting" signatures or initials on their Rewards card by visiting participating Shop Local businesses.
  4. Once a customer has the 5 Shop Local participating businesses signatures, the card becomes a free entry into a monthly drawing for $100.00 gift certificate. You can either collect the entries or the customer can drop them off at the Chamber.
  5. The drawing takes place during the monthly chamber luncheon.
  6. If the winner uses a $100.00 gift certificate in your business, the chamber will reimburse you the $100.00 out of the Shop Local program.
  7. The program will drive new customers to your business because the customers must get signatures from participating Shop Local businesses.
  8. To be a participating Shop Local business only requires a $50.00 annual investment.
  9. Promotional activities will include local media articles, press releases, free POS counter displays, Shop Local cards listing all participants, media advertising, and Chamber support such as Ebiz email news blasts and announcements at monthly luncheon and Chamber events.
