Visit Tahuya, Set at the tip of the Tahuya Peninsula is the remote community of Tahuya.
This tiny town is located 15 miles west of Belfair along Hood Canal’s North Shore Road. It overlooks the Great Bend on Hood Canal and is home of SUMMERTIDE Resort & Marina and the 23,000-acre Tahuya State Forest, where locals and visitors alike enjoy ORV trails, horseback riding, campgrounds, mountain biking and freshwater lakes. Open year-round, the Tahuya State Forest offers about 170 miles of multiple-use deep woods trails. It is estimated that more than 150,000 motorized and 50,000 non-motorized recreationists visit the forest annually. A discover Pass is required, available at the North Mason Chamber of Commerce’s Belfair Licensing in downtown Belfair, 30 Romance Hill Rd., next to Harrison Medical Center.
