Clams, anyone? Fair Harbor Marina is the host of Grapeview’s annual Art & Water Festival. In addition to thousands who make the trek by car, dozens travel by boat and make a weekend of it.
Visit Grapeview, Grapeview is a serene waterfront community located on Case Inlet, just four miles south of Allyn. It is accessible via the Grapeview Loop Road from the north and south, and by boat to the Fair Harbor Marina, across from Treasure Island. The site of the first vineyards and winery in the Pacific Northwest, many Island Belle vineyards are still located on Stretch Island, although the original St. Charles Winery and others closed in the 1960s. Stretch Island is located just south of Treasure Island, north of Harstine Island on Case Inlet. The bicycle friendly eight-mile Grapeview Loop Road also paves the way to Treasure Island and Stretch (Island which are both accessible via bridge) and the beautiful Fair Harbor marina, which offers moorage, a public boat launch, and a gas dock complete with a store for those last minute essentials.
